Overview:
Messmers UV Plus U.V. Plus is an oil based penetrating wood finish suitable for decks, log homes, woodsiding, fencing and other exterior wood surfaces. U.V. Plus protects wood while maintaining a naturalappearance.
Surface Preparation:
Always clean gray or dirty wood before applying UV Plus. Use Messmer’s WD Wood & Deck Cleaner (A) and Brightener (B) available in powder concentrates. Allow wood to completely dry for at least 24 to 48 hours. Previously stained or treated wood should be sufficiently weathered to allow for complete penetration. New redwood should be aged at least 6-8 weeks and cleaned and brightened before applying product.

Use paint thinner. Dispose of waste in accordance withlocal, state and federal regulations.
Danger - Rags, steel wool or waste soaked with UV Plus mayspontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediatelyafter each use, place rags, steel wool or waste in a sealed, waterfilled metal container.

A6. Esto suele ser causado por la sobresaturación de UV Plus en la madera. Recuerde que UV Plus debe poder penetrar completamente para funcionar correctamente. Retire cualquier material en exceso de inmediato. Dentro de las 48 horas posteriores a la aplicación, frote las áreas afectadas con disolvente de laca o solvente MEK para ablandar el material en exceso. Seque con un paño. A7. La formación de gotas de agua se logra al agregar ceras o parafina a la mancha. Estos aditivos no duran mucho tiempo y no son buenos repelentes de agua permanentes, además de que interfieren con la adhesión si decides pintar sobre la mancha. Por eso no los usamos en nuestros productos. El alto contenido de sólidos de UV Plus llena los poros de la madera, proporcionando una excelente repelencia al agua que durará.
