Titan Impact X 440 Airless Paint Sprayer (2429069)
The Titan Impact X 440 is a corded electric airless sprayer on a skid frame. It delivers 0.54 GPM at up to 3,300 psi and takes tips up to 0.023 in. Titan rates it for 50–100 gallons per week, which suits repaints, remodels and small-to-medium jobs.
Key Features
- 1.2 hp DuraLife HE brushless motor that runs cooler and needs no motor maintenance.
- Logix adaptive pressure control: tip-sensing keeps pressure steady as you change tips.

- No-Spill pump filter and a Sureflo pusher valve to free a stuck ball valve without tools.
- Electronic pressure control with a Rapid Clean function.

Impact X 440 or Impact X 410?
The Impact X 410 is the smaller step: 0.47 GPM, 0.021 in max tip and a 7/8 hp motor. The X 440 adds flow, a 0.023 in tip limit and a 1.2 hp motor for thicker coatings and bigger jobs. For heavier use, see the Impact 640I (0.70 GPM, 0.027 in tip).

Setup & Use
- Set up on level ground near a 120 V outlet.
- Connect the hose and gun. Keep the tip off the gun while you flush.
- Stir your coating, put the siphon tube in the pail and prime at the lowest pressure.
- Fit the tip and guard, then raise pressure until the spray fans out evenly with no heavy edges.
- Spray in steady, overlapping passes, triggering off at the edges.
- Relieve pressure before changing tips or clearing a clog.
- Clean right away. Remove the tip, flush at the lowest pressure, then store with Titan Piston Lube as the manual directs.
FAQ
1What tip size should I use?
Follow the tip range on the coating's data sheet. The sprayer takes tips up to 0.023 in with one gun. Thicker coatings need a larger tip.
2Can one person paint a house with it?
Yes. At 30 lb it is easy to move, and Titan rates it for 50–100 gallons a week. Hose can run up to 300 ft total.
3Can it spray exterior latex or elastomeric?
Titan lists latex and acrylics as compatible. Elastomeric is thick, so check the maker's spray instructions for tip size and thinning, and stay at or under 0.023 in.
4Do I need to thin the paint?
Usually not. Titan's manual says to thin only if the material is too thick to spray, and to follow the coating maker's directions.
5Impact 410 vs 440 vs 540: which one?
The X 410 flows 0.47 GPM with a 0.021 in max tip. The X 440 flows 0.54 GPM with a 0.023 in max tip. Titan lists the X 540I at the same flow and tip size as the 440; the 640I steps up to 0.70 GPM and 0.027 in. Pick by the biggest tip you expect to run.
6How long a hose can I use?
The 50 ft hose is included. Titan lists 50 ft as the minimum and 300 ft as the maximum hose length.
7How do I clean and store it?
Remove the tip, flush at the lowest pressure until the fluid runs clear, then relieve pressure. For storage, Titan's manual calls for Piston Lube. In Canada, never leave water in the pump where it can freeze.
8What warranty does it have, and what about open box?
It carries Titan's manufacturer's warranty. Titan advertises 4 years plus lifetime motor and drive train coverage for the Impact series, and wear items such as tips, hoses and guns are excluded. Ask us for the current terms. A+ open-box units are like new and come with the full manufacturer's warranty.
