Refund policy

  • We work hard to ensure that our return policies are fair to all the parties involved.
  • If you would like to return an item, please email us at info@thepaintpeople.com to issue a return request. Once approved, you will be provided with an authorization number (RMA Number). A return will not be accepted without a Return authorization.
  • All returns must be shipped and postmarked within 35 days of the item being received. Any return shipped after 35 days may be ineligible for a refund.
  • If you return a product claiming it's defective, and we determine it functions perfectly, up to 50% of the sale price may be deducted from your refund. Just a friendly reminder! 😊
  • Custom tinted paints and or stains are classified as Final Sale items and are not eligible for return or store credit.
  • Certain products are non-returnable and will be clearly indicated as such on their respective product pages.
  • Finally, if your order goes unclaimed and gets returned to us, we'll issue a refund minus a restocking/return shipping fee that will be determined during processing.

Changed Your Mind?

Ordered the wrong size or no longer need the item? No problem—we understand that plans can change.

Items returned for reasons other than our error are eligible for a refund, subject to the following conditions:

  • If you use our discounted prepaid return shipping label, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you choose to return the item using your own shipping carrier, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable charges imposed by the carrier.
  • A restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price may apply.**
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

*Restocking fees, if applicable, are determined based on the condition of the returned item, packaging, and completeness of the return.

Return Shipping

  • The cost for using our return label will vary and will be deducted when we issue your refund.

Damaged Orders

  • Oops! Sometimes our packages get a little too adventurous on their journey to you. If your order looks like it wrestled a bear, give our customer service heroes a call ASAP! Hold off on signing for it until we've had a chat. and if you find any sneaky, hidden damages after opening, they'll still be eager to help – just snap a few pics and spill the details. Together, we'll make things right!

What items are eligible for return?

  • All undamaged, unused spray equipment may be returned.

  • All current service parts that have not been defaced, or used and are in resalable condition.
  • Boxed or carton goods that have been opened and not used can be returned.
  • Just spray Graco Replacement Guarantee, certain models only*
