• Please be aware that large items will need our scheduled delivery service, and that this service comes with additional cost,

• We strive to ship your order out, within 2 business days.

• Should an order be returned to us, unclaimed, a refund will be issued less a restocking/return shipping fee - which is determined at time of processing and varies depending upon shipment***

• *Oversized, overweight (greater than 40lbs) or beyond destination shipments may incur additional shipping charges. Items below 150 lbs will ship via courier. Orders exceeding 150 lbs or over-sized items will be shipped by our freight service and will incur additional shipping charges. We reserve the right to, with consent, apply shipping charges as we see fit.

• A signature is required upon receipt of a package for all orders over $999.99CAD

• Order delivery dates are approximated and not guaranteed.

• Our orders are shipped courier via regular Canada Post. For expedited service, our orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited, UPS Standard, UPS Expedited, or Purolator, whichever is the lesser of the four. Any orders exceeding 140lbs will be shipped LTL freight, extra charges may apply.

Addresses

Please ensure shipping addresses are complete and accurate when checking out. Buzzer codes and unit numbers must be clearly indicated. Email address and phone numbers must also be current. Our carriers are particularly adamant that all shipping details are correct. Failure to do so may result in delayed deliveries, failed deliveries or additional address correction fees.

In-Store Pick-Up

We’re happy to offer free in-store pick-up on all orders. Most pick-up orders are ready within 4 hours of being placed. You’ll receive a notification as soon as your order is ready for collection.

Return Shipping

We do cover return costs and issue a full refund or a replacement for any item that was shipped to you in error or is defective/damaged in transit.

Exceptions

The Paint People’s free shipping offer does not apply to:

• Large items that require scheduled delivery
• Items or locations that require air delivery*

*Some remote areas of Canada can only be serviced by air delivery. In these cases free shipping is not available and extra shipping charges may apply. If extra shipping charges are required for your order we'll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to pay the additional fees or cancel your order. If you don't respond within 48 hours, your order will automatically be cancelled.

Shipping Policy with Insurance

Shipping Insurance

When you select and purchase shipping insurance at checkout, your order will be covered for potential loss, damage, or theft during transit. Please note the following terms related to shipping insurance:

1. 10% Deductible: If an issue arises with your order, such as damage or loss, there will be a 10% deductible applied to the total insured value of your item(s). This means that the insurance coverage will reimburse you for the insured value minus 10%.

2. Non-Refundable Shipping Insurance Cost: The cost of shipping insurance is non-refundable. Even if your order is returned, canceled, or if there is no damage or loss, the shipping insurance fee will not be refunded.

3. Claims Process: In the event of loss or damage, please contact our customer service team immediately with details of the issue, and we will assist you with the claim process. You will be required to provide documentation (such as photographs or a damage report) to support your claim.

4. No Insurance Refund: Once purchased, shipping insurance cannot be refunded or transferred. If you choose not to purchase insurance at checkout, you assume all risks related to shipping delays, damages, or loss.
