PaintLine FAQ
1Which drying rack is best for cabinet doors?
For a small shop, the 20-Shelf Rack holds up to 20 doors or parts. For daily production, the 50-Shelf Mobile Pro Rack has 50 shelves on locking casters.
2What is the difference between the 20-shelf and 50-shelf racks?
The 20-shelf rack (PDRTT) has no wheels and stores flat, so it suits small shops. The 50-shelf rack (PDRKD) is a steel tower on four 5" casters, two of them locking, with 200 sq ft of drying surface. Both hold 25 lb per shelf.
3What can the expandable Pro Drying Rack EX hold?
It adjusts from 20" to 60" wide with clamp levers, and has 15 levels at 60 lb per level, up to 900 lb in total. Shelf tubes can be removed to fit taller parts. It is the better pick for face frames, panels and larger doors.
4How does the 50-Hanger Spray & Dry system work?
You hang doors vertically on an 18 ft drying line, so you can paint all sides of a door in one hanging position and leave it to dry there. It comes with 50 hangers, 100 cup hooks and three carry bags, and sets up without tools in under 10 minutes.
5What does the Spray Twirly do?
It is a rotating stand that turns 360° so you can spray every side of a door, drawer front or panel without walking around it. Three adjustable magnetic spikes with paint pyramids hold the work, and three retractable arms fit larger doors.
6What can I spray in the Portable Jobsite Spray Booth?
PaintLine says to use it with non-flammable, non-combustible paints and solvents only, and to wear a respirator. It is for indoor use. Check the product page for the booth size.
7Do the racks come assembled?
No, but they go together quickly. The 20-shelf rack needs four wing nuts and no tools, and the 50-shelf rack needs four bolts. The spray booth is a one-person, no-tools setup of about 15 minutes.
