The Graco FinishPro HVLP 9.5 ProContractor is a turbine HVLP sprayer for small to medium fine finish jobs. It makes up to 9.5 psi and comes with the EDGE II Plus gun and a 1 qt (32 oz) FlexLiner cup system. It weighs 26 lb.

Where to Use It
Cabinets, doors, trim, furniture and other fine finish work with stains, lacquers, varnishes and enamels. Graco recommends up to 50 gallons per year. It is not made for spraying large walls and whole-house repaints. An airless sprayer covers those much faster.

Setup & Use
- Set up on a flat, clean surface away from overspray, with the filter in place.
- Connect the hoses. Connect the air hose and 4 ft whip hose between the sprayer and the gun, as Graco's manual shows.
- Strain the coating, thin only as the coating maker directs, and fill the FlexLiner.
- Plug into a grounded outlet and turn the turbine on.
- Choose a fluid set that suits the coating and test on cardboard. Adjust the flow control and rotate the air cap to change the pattern.
- Spray with the gun square to the surface, overlapping each pass by about half.
- Clean right away with the cleaner your coating requires.
- Check the filter often and clean or replace it as Graco directs.

Both make 9.5 psi. The 17N267 weighs 26 lb and uses a 1 qt FlexLiner on the gun. The 17N269 weighs 30 lb and adds a 2 qt remote cup with an integrated compressor.
2How do I adjust the EDGE II Plus gun?
Graco's gun page lists one integrated flow control that combines material and air, turned through 360° with an indicator, and an air cap with 3 positions to change the pattern.
3Which fluid set should I use?
The box has #3, #4 and #5 sets. Graco's pages we reviewed don't match each set to a coating, so check the coating's label and test on cardboard. Contact us if you are unsure.
4What can I spray with it?
It is made for fine finish work on cabinets, doors, trim and furniture. Always follow the coating maker's directions on thinning, and test on scrap first.
5What is the FlexLiner, and can I spray upside down?
It is a liner bag system that replaces the material cup. Graco says you can spray at any angle with no adjustment, even upside down.
6How long is the hose?
The box has a 30 ft Super-Flex air hose and a 4 ft whip hose. Graco's maximum total hose length for the ProContractor series is 60 ft.
7How do I look after the filter?
Check it often. Tap it clean, blow it out with air at no more than 100 psi, or soak it in mild detergent. Replace it if needed.

30-Day Replacement Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied, you can return your sprayer to us or any authorized service center within 30 days of purchase and either exchange the product for an identical sprayer or trade up to a larger Graco sprayer for an extra cost. The service center simply orders the replacement sprayer from Graco and completes a warranty claim for credit for the original sprayer.
- Claim date must be no more than 60 days beyond the purchase date for return authorization.
- Sprayers must be received back at Graco within 30 days from the claim date.
- Graco will pay the return freight if an approved carrier is used, however, the service center is responsible for packaging the return to prevent damage in transit.
