Install Tips
- Relieve pressure and disconnect the air supply. Engage the trigger lock.
- Remove the old guard and tip, then follow your G40 manual to change the cylinder housing.
- Reassemble the diffuser to Graco's torque of 155-165 in-lb (18-19 N·m). The flange should bottom out on the gun.
- Insert the SwitchTip and install the guard over the end of the gun. Hand tighten.
- Test with water or flushing fluid before you spray. Graco says never spray without the tip guard and trigger guard.
