Coverage:

The coverage of Penofin® Stain & Sealer varies with the wood's texture, moisture content, and application technique. On average, expect to cover 125-175 sq. ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces. Rougher textures may require more product.

Surface Preparation:

For optimal results, ensure wood surfaces are completely dry, clean, and free of dirt, mildew, and loose fibers. Remove old coatings for better stain penetration. Use Penofin Pro-Tech Cleaner for thorough cleaning before application.

Recoat Time:

If applying two thin coats of Penofin Wood Sealer, allow the 1st coat to dry for one hour before applying the 2nd coat. Allow 72 hours before returning furniture to the , or resuming heavy use.

Maintenance:

Protect wood from sunlight, rain, and moisture. Regular cleaning with Penofin® Pro-Tech Cleaner is advised. Reapply stain when the finish appears dull to maintain its appearance. In high-traffic areas, periodic touch-ups may be needed.

Cleanup: Clean brushes and equipment with mineral spirits or paint thinner. Dispose of empty cans or unused portions in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

CAUTION! KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause eye and skin irritation. Use only with adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing vapors, spray mist or sanding dust. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness, wear an appropriate properly fitted respirator (Niosh approved) during and after application. Wash thoroughly after handling.
