Titan SC-6+ Fine Finish Airless Spray Tips

Titan SC-6+ Fine Finish tips are reversible airless tips for cabinets, doors, trim, furniture and metal. They are rated to 5,000 psi, and Titan says they atomize up to 27% finer than a standard tip. Use them for stains, lacquers and light-bodied clear finishes.

Sizes and What They're For

Sold as 671- followed by the size, such as 671-310. The first digit times 2 is the fan width in inches when you spray about 12 in from the surface. The last two digits are the orifice in thousandths of an inch. So a 310 gives a 6-8 in fan with a 0.010 in orifice. Thinner coatings suit smaller orifices. Check the coating maker's advice.

Which Guard Do I Need?

A tip needs a guard to spray. Titan says these tips fit most industry-standard safety guards. The 210G, 310G, 312G and 408G are sold with a guard. How to Use

Relieve pressure and turn the sprayer off before changing a tip.
Fit the tip in the guard with its seal, as the guard's manual shows.
Test on cardboard and raise the pressure only until the edges of the fan are even.
Spray about 12 in from the surface, overlapping each pass by half.
If it clogs, relieve pressure and reverse the tip.
