Sprayer Maintenance FAQ
1How do I know which repair part my sprayer needs?
Start with the model and part number on your sprayer or gun. Repair kits, cartridges and pumps are made for specific models. If the number isn't listed, contact us with your model and a photo of the part.
2What do Pump Armor and Throat Seal Liquid do?
Pump Armor protects the pump while the sprayer is stored. Throat Seal Liquid goes in the throat to slow packing wear on electric airless sprayers. Follow your sprayer's manual for how and when to use each.
3Should I repair the pump or replace the sprayer?
If the packings are worn and the rod and cylinder are in good shape, a packing repair kit is usually enough. If the rod or cylinder is scored or damaged, replace the pump. Check your pump's repair manual, or contact us with your model.
4My spray gun drips or won't shut off. What should I replace?
Clean the filter and tip first, since a clogged tip can look like a bad needle. For Graco Contractor and FTx guns, kit 288488 replaces the needle and diffuser. The Contractor PC uses the 17Y297 cartridge instead.
5How is this different from Airless Sprayer Accessories?
That collection has the parts you spray with: guns, tips, hoses, extensions, filters and kits. This one has the upkeep side: repair kits, pumps, seals, storage fluids and cleaning kits, including some for HVLP and Fuji sprayers. See Airless Sprayer Accessories.
6How do I choose an inlet strainer?
7Do you carry parts for HVLP and Fuji sprayers?
Yes. This collection includes HVLP cleaning kits, cup gaskets, check valves and Fuji rebuild kits. Match the part number to your gun or cup, or contact us with your model.
