Graco 18B260 Pump Packing Repair Kit
The Graco 18B260 is the genuine packing repair kit for the displacement pump on many Graco airless sprayers, including the 390, Ultra 395/495/595 and Ultra Max II 490/495/595. It restocks the throat and piston packings, glands, balls and o-rings that wear out first. Graco's pump manuals list it as the new part number for 244194. Check your pump number against the manual before you order.

Install Tips
- Relieve pressure, switch off and unplug the sprayer.
- Follow your sprayer's pump repair manual (309250 or 334599) for the disassembly steps.
- Clean the parts, but do not clean the piston valve threads; this can loosen the thread-locking patch.
- Soak leather packings in SAE 30W oil for one hour before fitting.
- Reassemble to the manual's torque values and test the pump before spraying.

1How do I know the packings are worn?
Common signs are fluid leaking at the packing nut, fluid in the throat seal liquid, a weak or pulsing spray, or a pump that loses pressure. Check the pump manual before taking it apart.
2Which sprayers does the 18B260 fit?

3Do I need this kit or a whole new pump?
If the packings are worn and the rod and cylinder are in good shape, this kit is enough. If the rod or cylinder is scored or damaged, replace those parts or the pump, such as a ProConnect or Endurance pump.
4What tools do I need?
Plan on hand tools: two wrenches, a vise and a hammer. Have SAE 30W oil for the leather packings and Throat Seal Liquid for the packing nut. Your pump's repair manual has the full procedure.
5How long does the repair take?
Graco doesn't publish a time. Allow extra for the one-hour oil soak on the leather packings and for cleaning the pump.
6Is this a genuine Graco part?
