$0A printed paint chip of the exact colour. Best for narrowing a shortlist and checking colours against flooring, cabinets and fabric. Up to 10 per order, plus shipping.
Paint tester
$6.99A 240 ml (8 oz) pot of real paint, tinted to your colour. Paint a large patch on the wall to see it in your light. Add one from your swatch tray. Custom tinted, so not refundable.

Are the colour swatches really free?
Yes. Every Benjamin Moore swatch is $0. You only pay for shipping, which is calculated at checkout based on where you are.
How many swatches can I order?
Up to 10 swatches per order. If you need more colours than that, a Benjamin Moore fan deck puts a whole collection in your hand.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address. If you're adding swatches to a paint order, they ride along in the same box.
What's the difference between a swatch and a tester?
A swatch is a printed paint chip of the colour, great for building a shortlist. A tester is a 240 ml (8 oz) pot of real paint tinted to your colour, so you can paint a big patch on the wall. You can add a tester for any colour from your swatch tray.
Can I search by colour number?
Yes. Type a number like HC-172, OC-17, 2133-60 or CSP-1110, or just a name like Chantilly Lace. Spaces and dashes don't matter.
Why does the colour look different on my screen?
Every monitor and phone shows colour differently, and your room's light changes it again. That's why we always recommend seeing a real swatch or tester before you buy paint.
Which collection should I look in?
If you're not sure, leave it on All collections and browse by colour family. Whites and neutrals live mostly in the Off-White Collection and Historical Colours; bolder shades in Classics and Colour Preview.
