Roman PRO-555 Extreme Tack is a premium, high-tack adhesive designed for installing vinyl wallcoverings on surfaces requiring exceptional adhesion. Its low-moisture formula ensures reliable performance and a strong, lasting bond.

Recommended Uses:

Applying vinyl wallcoverings to surfaces that demand exceptional adhesion.

Not Suitable For: Pre-pasted wallpapers, delicate wallcoverings, or application with a pasting machine.

Compatible Coatings: Works seamlessly with all Roman primers.

Recommended Surfaces: Ideal for use on new, bare drywall, sound latex paint, or surfaces properly primed with a Roman wallcovering primer.

Mildew Resistance: All Roman products are formulated with biocides to ensure in-can preservation.

Application Instructions:

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, smooth, and structurally sound, free from grease and any residues. Inspect for issues such as poor paint adhesion, damaged wallboard, or plaster. Repair any compromised areas before proceeding. For unique or challenging conditions, consult your adhesive or wallcovering supplier for guidance.

Dilution: Do not dilute the adhesive.

Application Method: Apply the adhesive only when the room temperature exceeds 50 ºF. Use a 3/8-inch nap roller or a brush to spread a thin, even layer. Note: A thinner coat is more effective than a thick one, so avoid over-applying.

Coverage: Approx. 160 square feet per gallon

Clean-Up: Remove excess adhesive with clean water before it dries. For embossed or textured vinyl surfaces, extra care may be needed to prevent adhesive from settling into the texture, as dried residue can be difficult to remove.
