Fuji Q5 PLATINUM HVLP Paint Spray System
The Fuji Q5 PLATINUM is a 5-stage turbine HVLP system for fine finishing. It makes about 9.5 psi, so most coatings need little or no thinning. Choose from three non-bleed guns: T70, T75G or G-XPC.

The Q5 suits cabinet shops, furniture refinishers, trim carpenters and serious DIYers. Use it for cabinets, doors, furniture, trim and millwork with stains, lacquers, enamels, urethanes and waterborne or solvent-based paints.
Not ideal for large exterior walls or whole-house repaints. An airless sprayer covers big surfaces much faster.

- T70 Bottom Feed: 1 qt (1000 cc) cup. Best for bigger jobs and fewer refills.
- T75G Gravity Feed: 600 cc nylon cup. A good all-round choice for cabinets and furniture.
- GXPC Side Mount GF: 400 cc aluminum cup, mounted on the side. Suits tight spots and small parts.

Q5 vs Q4 and Mini-Mite 5
The Q4 PLATINUM is a 4-stage, 9 psi turbine at 22.7 lb. The Q5 adds a fifth stage and more pressure for thicker coatings. The Mini-Mite 5 PLATINUM has the same 5-stage, 9.5 psi motor in a lighter 15.2 lb body. Both come with the same three gun options, so choose the Mini-Mite 5 if you carry your sprayer from job to job.

Setup & Use
- Set up the turbine on a flat, clean surface away from overspray, with the filter in place.
- Connect the hose to the turbine with the quick-connect and attach it to the gun.
- Strain the coating, fill the cup and check its viscosity with the #4 Ford cup. Thin only as the coating maker directs.
- Test on cardboard. Start with the speed dial low, then raise it for thicker coatings. Adjust the fan pattern and fluid flow until the spray is even.
- Spray with the gun square to the surface, overlapping each pass by about half.
- Clean right away. Empty the cup, run the correct cleaner through the gun, and brush the air cap and nozzle clean with the included kit.
- Check the turbine filter often and replace it when dirty.
