Fuji Spray Systems FAQ

1Which Fuji turbine system should I buy?

For hobby and weekend projects, the Semi-PRO 2 or Hobby-PRO 2. For a portable pro system, the Mini-Mite 5. For shop use, the Q5. For thick coatings and the most control, the D6.

2What do the stages and psi numbers mean?

More stages build more pressure and airflow, so thicker coatings atomize with less thinning. Fuji lists the Q3 and Mini-Mite 3 at 6.5 psi, the Q4 and Mini-Mite 4 at 9 psi, the Q5 and Mini-Mite 5 at 9.5 psi, and the D6 at up to 11.5 psi.

3Q series or Mini-Mite: what is the difference?

Each Mini-Mite matches its Q model in stages and pressure. The Mini-Mite is lighter, 14.56 to 15.22 lb, and built to carry from job to job. The Q series weighs 22.29 to 24.06 lb and Fuji lists it at 61 to 63 dBA at 15 ft.

4Which gun should I choose: T70, T75G or G-XPC?

The T70 has a 1 quart (1000 cc) bottom feed cup for bigger jobs. The T75G has a 600 cc gravity cup and suits most cabinet and furniture work. The G-XPC has a 400 cc cup that tilts, for tight spots and small parts.

5Can a Fuji spray latex paint and other coatings?

Yes. Fuji systems spray waterborne and solvent-based coatings, including stains, lacquers, enamels and urethanes. Check viscosity with a Ford cup, thin only as the coating maker directs, and test on scrap first.

6What warranty does Fuji give?

Fuji lists 24 months on parts and labour for its Platinum and DIY-PRO systems, and 2 + 1 years for the D6. Coverage can differ by product, so check the product page or contact us.

7Is Fuji good for cabinets and furniture?

Yes. Fuji HVLP systems are made for fine finishing on cabinets, doors, furniture and trim. For large walls or whole-house repaints, an airless sprayer is much faster.
